Flea is a shapeshifting magician and, if he follows the traditions of such things in legend, he would by all biological appearances be a woman. Zeus transforms into a swan, Athene into the likeness of Mentor (a friend of Odysseus), for examples. I am certain that these were thought of as being full transformations. In Norse myth, such gods as transform, say Loki into the mare, even bear children in the alternate form - the horse Sleipnir is Loki's child, after all. So I would wager that any representation of him in his female form would be so in full form, not in half-form.
