The only possible 'hole' I've noticed is that Glenn is Glenn while Magus still lives. Huh?

see; Final Fantasy Chronicles' Chrono Trigger ending anime sequence

Glenn changes back regardless.

They probably just didn't feel like drawing another sprite.
Your Glenn-sprite looks pretty good already.

Ah, the irony of these statements...

see; Chrono Trigger ending w/o Magus or Crono

That Glenn sprite can be seen in Chrono Trigger if you play your cards just right...

But did I read that right? I didn't notice that. Grobyc and Norris are in the demo? Does that work out, time-line wise?

A Porre soldier mentions their brother who may be thinking about joining up. His diary or book or w/e says that his brother's name is Norris...I forget w/e is in CE about Grobyc though...

If Glenn becomes a playable character in the game, try to make him different from the frog version. I.E. instead of him being Water element, make Holy element, with new spells and whatnot, that making him a lot different from the frog version :P.

Oh and how could Glenn not be frog even though Magus was still alive?

Found this while looking for the CT/CC parallel timeline explanation document.

I must say, this is very good..though it's funny how you get killed by Gato Plus.

Bug: Card and Pie don't disappear from inventory
Bug: Talk while you walk. is that intentional?
Bug: Notably in the (Manoria) Cathedral, talk to the guard and head up to where the bishop is at the same time, you can't enter.

I will be keeping my eyes peeled for this!

That's how it is in the game.

That's how it is in the game.

Precisely, that's how it always was in the original Chrono Trigger game (except during some dialogues like when you have to choose "yes" or "no").

I think it would make more sense if they chased the porrean up the mountain. Then maybe he does something that triggers the Egg.

My question is still not answered...

Why is Glenn human when Magus is still alive? It makes no sense!

Think following the ending of the PSX CT, where Marle kisses Frog which reverted him back to Glenn.

Which happened because Magus was dead.

Whether it makes sense or not and whether you kill Magus or not, Frog reverts to his human form in the FFChronicles ending, so it's canon.

Marle does not kiss Glenn if you killed Magus. I can only conclude that nightmare has no idea what's going on.

I've always thought that the Frog spell was connected to Frog through Magus. When they were permenantly seperated by time in the end of CT, the curse eventually lifted. I mean, if you're seperated by that much time, in 600A.D. Magus is going to be dead, right? So then the curse should be lifted. But if the gates were open, then the possibility that Magus could come back would still be there. Or perhaps the curse itself flows through the entire timeline and seeps through the gates like water through a crack.

Now, you can either take my flawless explaination, or you can just believe that Magus eventually said to hell w/it for w/e reason and lifted it himself...
