The first Video Game you ever played

Hey all, just wondering what was everyones first video game they played. These are console games only. Also, when u specify ur game, also specify what console (as some ppl may not know what games are on what).

Try as I might, I cannot completely remember my first video game. I am pretty sure though it was a NES game, some side-scroller game. But one very early game i know for sure was the Mario Kart for SNES. Then not long after I played Super Mario 64 which I think is one of the greatest games EVER!

If you include handhelds, my first games were Paperboy, Tetris, and Baseball for the Gameboy. (Got 'em all at once when I got my Gameboy.) But if you're talking about full consoles, that'd be Donkey Kong Country, which I got when I first got my SNES. (Yeah, I was a late adopter. I only got my hands on the SNES just as the third (main) generation of consoles was coming onto the horizon.)

Hmmm...did I play Super Mario Bros. or Duck Hunt first? :lol: I'll go with SMB, 'cause Mario games are awesome.

Uh, probably Super Mario Bros. on NES...Unless I played something before that that I just plain don't remember...I still haven't beaten SMB :shock: ! I probably could now...that last level (go warps!) thing always confused me (which path to take going up & down)...:? But w/e...

probably some kind of mario game for the NES.. or SNES... or something, I really don't know cuz it was on a Virgin Atlantic flight to England when I was.. 7 or so

First game I owned was Super Mario 64 and Wave Race 64... My dad was amazed at how Super Mario 64 could be all 3-D, so he got me and my sister an N64 for our birthdays, and then I think we got Super Mario Kart and a second controller for christmas

When I was a wee lad of 4 back in '95 I recieved my Super Nintendo on my parent's whim, I first played Super Mario World.

Woo...brings back memories.
