The world would be a very different place if being 6'7" made sense. That's about a foot taller than the average American man. Drink a lot of milk growing up, ZeaLity?

That would be scary if the average was 6'7"   . I'd feel so tiny ( I'm predicted to be about 5'9" when I'm finished growing)

I somewhat don't believe in the milk theory, seeing as I drink 3-4 cups a day and I'm still small >_>

I consume milk like a mofo and I'm only 6'1".

*weeps*

I'm heavy into weightlifting.  I neglected it a lot for the IB program, so now my max is only about 210 or so.  *hides*

If you're full grown, drinking a ton of milk won't do anything. Unless you're referring to when you were still growing. If so, then well I guess that's just DNA. 6'1" Is still fairly tall

Milk has nothing to do with it.
All it will do is help you big strong bones, not longer or thicker bones.

The height is just all programmed in your DNA, of course you can ruin this by 3 common things

1.) Prebirth: Mom did things she shouldn't (Drugs, Alchohol, Bothering with her insides...youknow what Imean with that one)

2.) Smoking: This can and will cause many other side effects as well.

3.) Alchohol: Kids who drink, will shrink!

And of course, we can always count on the unexpected...like an accident which broke one of your growth plates.
Or being a pre-me baby, or just being born with deformation.

Other then those reasons though there is no reason why there is a difference in height.

Oh wait..I LIED!!! THERE IS!!!!!

People who drink milk get tall because of all the growth hormones in the cows!
Thus meaning, meat eaters are also taller as well because of these hormones.

The safest way to go, and not worry about unnatural things in your food is this.

1.) Grow you own veggies and eat them
2.) Never use a non-stick pan, beleive it or not...put a small bird near a hot nonstick pan...it will die
From fumes that are undetectable
3.) Drink lots and lots of water, this should down the chemicals you take in
4.) If you must eat meat....raise your own Cow/Chicken/Fish/Lamb/Pig

This is why I'm gracious that my family is very health conscious, and not the psuedo "South Beach diet rules!" bullsh!t

- All the milk I drink is Organic
- All the meat that I eat is free-range and is mostly purged of the hormones etc.

It's kind of a b!tch to buy (no meat or milk for us from Stop and Shop, that's for sure >_>), but I know it'll payoff someday.

I'm gonna take "dairy products" in there to mean ice cream.

I always yogurt with additions to sweet them, like say, raspberries and such. I eat a bit of everything, I guess. My personal favourite is tuna salad. I tell ya, my mom can do some delicous things with a canned fish.

Tuna Salad is good, bu eating the stuff right out of the can I find is a bit unpleasant.

tuna fish...you might as well be eating cat food...

Honestly, I can't afford to be "eat healthy"...If I was that picky, I'd easily be skinnier than I am now!

Living in enclosed, cramped spaces (but who does that?) will also make one not grow as much

I eat my tuna (one can every other day) straight form the can, and I actually like it.  Mix in a tiny bit of mustard and you've got yourself a healthy snack!

What's better, Squat or Leg Press Machine? I ask because it is a little more troublesome to do squat, but experience and everything I've ever read tells me free weights is more easily applied in real life situations and also builds more coordination, etc.
