Now, I hate Crono. I really do. He's a punk, and I hate him. Although he's the hero of time.

Now, he has no visible father. His mother just washes the dishes and cleans his room. Where does she sleep? How do they get money to live? HOW?!

Seriously, all jokes aside. Without Crono or his mom working how can they make a living? They'd well, be kicked out of their house and die of hunger.

Who says they don't have money? Just because the father isn't around doesn't mean anything. For all we know Crono's father is like Ness's from Earthbound. Always on the road and making money for the family. The amount of time the story falls under is not that long at all. Two weeks tops.

One month, actually. But still, Crono does travel around the world, the game WOULD mention his father at one point.

How do we know it is one month, and why would we assume they would mention his father?

A Millenial Fair would take place one month, because of it's nature. The game starts and ends with the Millenial Fair's beggining and end.

Fair's duration= One month

Journey's duration=Fair's duration

Journey's duration= 1 month.

And why mention him? So people won't ask where he is.

What?? why is it a month? Why not a week? Why not two weeks? Gotta back your claims with some proof.

Why would a fair that counts a millenium takes place a month and not a week ro two? BECAUSE IT'S A WORLD WIDE EVENT! People from Choras, from Porre and once Crono fixes the future, people from Medina, would want to come to the fair.  A week or two may be to long. A month would allow them to at least enjoy the last night of the fair. Besides, for some reason, a month just seems to make sense.

According to Letrimh, who tried to guess how long each event could last and how much rest the party needs, the duration of the adventure would be +40 days.

Hey! Crono's mom talks to each of the party members when you have Crono introduce them to her...she's bitchin that way (way cooler than Serge's "Marge").

Oh, and Crono obviously makes money slaying monsters...der.

I've two theories on the subject of money made by the death of monsters...

1) Crono actually takes the carcasses somewhere which is then traded for money (all off screen, of course) and the game simply simplifies this by just giving you the money right after the battle and making the carcass dissappear (two birds w/one stone even!).

or

2) The monsters ate somebody and when you killed them, the contents of their stomach spilled out and you found Zenny! And look! An item too! But Crono, shouldn't we clean them?

Maybe, since Crono is almost a damn adult, he has a job? You don't expect him to be feeding the cat all day, right? Hey, who knows? He might be friends with Lucca because he helps lug around heavy machinery for her father or something.
