Well DUH! That's why we debate about it.

Well DUH! A debate based on nonexistant facts isn't worthier than a couple o' monkeys debating for who should eat the last banana, it's all "uh-uh ah-ah", doesn't matter how long it's discussed

now, if squenix or any other official source came and said, shit guys, that quest took actually just a day, than we could discuss how that was a damn LONG day, without having to feel like fighting our buddy monkeys for that damn banana

OR if they came and left us with some consistent facts about distances, mechanics of natural time flow in chrono's n' co. quest period, about how much time did the party spend sleeping, eating, just hanging around in the open talking bullshit and watching the nightsky and other stuff - -"

and that'd for some reason feel ridiculous o.o"

Wasn't funny, and believe me, I should know about being unfunny.

Not funny at all. Sarcasm is, normally, only funny for who understands it and isn't being it's target, very few I've seen being exception to this, but this just doesn't matter for it has absolutely nothing to do with the thread's discussion, then just ignore everything written since "Not funny at all." until here

Wow. Just stop breathing. >< And their economy is hardly capitalist. Every nation has ONE goddamn store. Regardless, take a look at Britain. It has a monetary system, capitalism, etc. Your theory is a sack of bullshit that doesn't even make sense within it's own context.

Well, rofl, first things first. Brittish economy = capitalist, British state = monarchy. Guardia & co. economy = capitalism, Guardia state = monarchy. Both have a monetary system. SO WHAT? hahaha, gosh u pwnt me in terms of redundance. I gotta say, u have a talent for it. Now, every nation has ONE goddamn store, ONE goddamn inn, like FOUR or FIVE (i cant remember exactly, dun play trigger for a long time now) damn houses, almost none inhabitant... wait! but that could hardly be called a nation. hardly called a city o_O shiat! not even a village! maybe it simply doesn't exist and it's all came from our raw imagination? o.o ROFLMAO i think that the sack of bullshit has changed sides. the quantity of stores doesn't matter, what matters is the economical system they use to do their business. and, it looks a lot [O_O] with capitalism. at least to me O_o

but what would a stoopid nonsense talker know? certainly not jokes. much less sarcasm. oh yes.

I hate you already. Ta' ^_^ *runs to another thread*

good thing u hate me. if u loved me i'd be seriously thinking in changing my personality, not to say changing my status from alive to dead. now that was a bad one, don't u dare laugh.

and if u simply didn't give a shit about me, we'd be very alike XD or, maybe not? who knows? i don't.

Seriously...You guys are being far too GameFAQs now...Just...just stop...

The duration of the quest isn't based on nothing, it's based on rationalizing things given what we know from the in-game facts. Probability, common sense, and facts, that's how we discuss things around here.

He is a swordsman, though in the snes version doesnt show much about his dedication for his swrdsmanship the psx clearly shows him training in a Cinematic. Thus brings me to conclude he is a hunter. He earns money from slaying monsters and animals.

He has no sword. He most probably bought his first real sword at the beginning of the game, with money that he saved for the Millenial Fair.

He as training, therefor he is a hunter?
How does that make sense?
By that rational we could say: Chrono was training, therefor he is a contract killer.
It simply isn't true. He trains, because he loves swords, and the art of swordsmanship.

Ponedr on it for a second more, and you come to the fact that Chrono is a teenager. How many teenagers do you know, who hunt animals for pocket money?

He was forced into fighting by the fateful events that happened during CT, afterwards, he was a king; there was really no space in the timeline for him to be a liesure, or proffesional hunter.

According to Letrimh, who tried to guess how long each event could last and how much rest the party needs, the duration of the adventure would be +40 days.

Here's Letrimh's detailed timetable: http://home.earthlink.net/~letrimh/ctlist.htm.  It's quite good.  As Chrono'99 pointed out, Letrimh claims the journey takes anywhere from 40 to 60 days, or so.

As for my thoughts on the length of the quest, I am not entirely sure.  I do believe, however, that the Millennial Fair lasts either one month or one season (summer, most likely).  This is arbitrary, I know.  However, I find subtle significance in the Moonlight Parade which ends the fair.  Perhaps the fair ends on the night of the last full moon of summer and began approximately 12 weeks (84 days) weeks earlier on the last full moon of spring.  (Granted, this relies on some assumptions concerning both the calendar used in Guardia and the very nature of the Planet's solar system.)

NO! NOOOOOOOOOO!
