Okay, mainly, I just wanted to share these images...But I figure we can also just discuss 8-Bit Theater here too...



The pics are from a poster that I guess you can buy over at NuklearPower somewhere...and the quotes are all from 8BT itself, except for Theif's which is a modified quote because I didn't have a quote that fit the pic any better than that...

I saw this thread, and knew you posted it, V_T. And that Thief quote is a Theif quote, more or less. It's from the strip where he is first introduced.

Yeah, I knew it was a Theif quote, or at least the "Your GP or your HP" part is...although, damn, I just realized that the black in Theif's and RM's is off a bit...

I also just realized that w/o the response from the vendor, RM's quote isn't really all that funny...But it just fit so well w/the pic I had to use it...btw, here's the vendor's response...

Our paintball team has decided which 8BT character we all are...

The captain's Black Mage, because he's an asshole and lusts after a pure-hearted chick.  My best friend's Thief, because you'll never suspect him until he already rules the world.  The guy at Texas Tech is Red Mage, because he's got the hat for it.  The pussy guy is Black Belt, because he dies in incredible agony and is sexually dysfunctional.  Finally, I'm Fighter, because I DID invent sword-chucks.  Seriously.  I'll post pictures later.  Also, I'm not really smart; I'm so stupid that my intellect somehow doubled back on itself in a temporal anomaly and became positive all within Planck time after I became self-aware, just like Fighter's.

There are some "unnoficial" flash animations floating on internet as well, and they are quite good. There's  a "D&D" parody in newgrounds really nice! The "versus" animations located at the official website are just amazing too.

The whole comics series are excelent, but I prefer the beginning, like 1-150 episodes. These ones are the best to me.

Yeah, I saw the first few flash eps a long time ago...A lot of people don't like BM's voice (supplied by OCR's own Children of the Monkey Machine), but I do 8)

I saw the D&D thing too...but that audio was taken from something else if I remember correctly...

I used to think that only the beginning of 8BT was great, but after reading pretty much the whole thing over again, I came to realize that it's all pretty much the same greatness...

Fighter: ...And then Jackie Chan was all "Fighter, only your blade can defeat Aku." 'Cause Cobra Commander had kidnapped--
Theif: Okay, Fighter? I asked if you wanted some lunch.
Fighter: I'm getting to that.

Just awesome. :lol:

I like red mage the best, he is just hilarious with all of the D&D references.
