Summarily, I hold that given the ugly world he was thrown in to and the Elysium he once knew, he had little motivation against the idea of searching for his lost sister, or seeking revenge.
Which is precisely my point.
...Ever since Lavos's time portal stranded me in the Middle Ages...I have waited to even the score.
That's basically the reason Magus gives you for wanting to go after Lavos. Everything else is implied. He's obviously an angry man who doesn't like to be fucked w/and we know he doesn't like surprises.
Although, to back up the point that he's doing it all for Schala...I'd say that one of his main reasons for going after Lavos is as a kind of redemption, either to himself, or more likely, to Schala, for the things he's done in his life so far.
That's all I needed to know that Magus was a bad-ass with a plan.
Congratulations V-Translanka, you do understand the minds of the darkly misunderstand. That was the explanation I needed.
But anyways, the only people I know w/o a fact in RPG history who are "wusses" are 1) Zell (FFVIII) and 2) Edward (FFIV).
Minor FFVIII spoilers. Come on, give Zell some credit. He may have begun as a chicken-wuss, but he grew up and went on to lead the gang while Squall and Rinoa were in space. As for the "spoony bard," Edward makes Pierre look like Hulk Hogan.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! *phew* So true, so true!
'Nuff!
...
Well, I guess this thread has finally come to a conclusion!
...
Ehh, we can start a new debate.
Sneff > Magus.
Debate! XD
(Yeah, I'm joking in that last statement there.
Now, go get yourself some cookies).
