If it makes you feel any better, I'VE never seen it before. And I still remember when the internet was a new thing, and 56k dial-up was extreme. For that matter, I still remember being excited about CD-ROM drives, come to think of it, and the Star Wars game Rebel Assault which was always playing in the game stores. That was long before CT even came out, actually. That was what, '93? Good grief, I'm still old enough to remember when 16Mb of Ram cost hundreds of dollars, and when Pentium was a new thing, a major step up from the good old 486s (come to think of it, my father just got rid of our old Pentium 90 that was, in fact, an upgrade from a 486.) The good old days when 'Hard Drive Required' was written on the box of a cutting-edge game; that would be the beginning of the 90's, back when I was 6 or 7... anyone remember this?
That's Captain Comic. I can still hum the tune to that game, I played it so much. I used to love that game or, rather, the demo for it. It was bloody hard, too. When I played it, my fingers were too short to reach properly both the movement keys, and the 0 key which was fire, so I am my brother would take turns alternately being movement and gunner. Those were the good old days of gaming...
Though I'm sure there's a goodly number of people on these forums that can remember back further than that.
The point is, I've seen computers and games for a while, likewise the internet. But I've still never seen that thing, nor can I quite comprehend why its considered to be so funny. But I suppose I'm not a humerous person, nor one for parodies.
