Here's my desktop. There's enough on it that you can probably tell a couple of things about me! The stuff on the right is always there; the stuff on the left is documents in various stages of progress that haven't made it down to my permanent folders, and the stuff in the middle needs its transient ass to be cleared out entirely:
Some of the document names are redacted because they are work-related and should not be made public.
As for the background image, I photographed that when I went backpacking in Olympic National Park last summer. The Olympic Peninsula is one of the most beautiful places in the world--home, for instance, to the longest stretch of protected Pacific coastline in America, and home to the northern hemisphere's only temperate rainforest.
