For reference, a dBZ rating is a general storm threat assessment; a rating of 50 is bad. 60 is pushing it, but I've never even SEEN 70 or above on this radar utility until now. And VIL above 60 ensures hail; in the 80's, it's going to be raining chunks of ice.
And for reference, mesocyclones is what leads to rotations, which, if they touch down, become tornados. This is a mammoth storm system. It's like the rebellion of the titans down here. We just might get clipped, though.
