Oh. I notice a difference alright. I'm not distracted by tv at all. I don't care about tv shows. At all. I have no pull to turn on the tv, and I have way more time to do other things, like video games (sure, not much more productive, but it's still a little bit more usage of brain cells and nerves), computer stuff, work, school, and a social life. It's sooooooo nice.

Amateur. 3 years for me. Although when I'm visiting family, cable is present. Thing is though, I feel less desire to watch tv. I figure, I could spend the money on cable, get an extra hundred channels, but only about 3-4 of them are going to have content I want to watch. I'm happy with my broadcast tv, and I'm happy that having a half dozen channels kills channel surfing habits very quickly.

I'm going on 9 years, actually. And it's the same situation for me, family always has cable, and they're always shocked when I tell them I don't watch tv. Sad state our world has fallen into.

Im going three years without cable. Damn, is it cool avatat change week? Mystik and Kazuki changed avvys, which suited their personalities greatly. Plus, Mystiks one had a border which added sophistication.
