It brings up a "Forbidden" page.

Cardinal Josh: I have in this box, the pure and unsullied Truth!
Astonished Flock: Wow!
J: Yes, it would seem that humanity's quest for supreme wisdom is at an end.
F: May we look inside?
J: No, unfortunately the Truth is highly susceptible to the effects of reality and would instantaneously dissolve upon contact with air or light.
F: Aww...
J: You will have to take it on faith that the ultimate Truth is inside this box which I have here in my possession, and that even though you may not look upon its contents, there can be no doubt as to its holy contents. Amen.
F: Amen.

Actually, I've seen the imagery in question and Azala definitely passes for a male. I've held that Azala is a female, but in light of the evidence, this position is not tenable without making one of two arguments: 1) The movies are not canonical; 2) Azala's gender is open to artistic interpretation.

If you're talking about this picture of something close to it:

Then, I don't see what prooves that Azala is a male.

Yeah, reptiles don't have mammorary glands (because that would make them mammals) so Azala doesn't need breasts to be female.

Ok, so after starting a few directories higher than that link I was able to find those pictures, and yeah...all it shows is that Reptites don't have lizard breasts.

Nightmare, it sounds like you've been watching too much anime if you're expecting a lizard character to have breasts (yuck).

Nah, Azala seems to be too mascular to be female. Besides, why would the Reptiles be lead around by a Woman?

Nah, Azala seems to be too mascular [sic] to be female.

In the movies in question, that is a distinct possibility. In Chrono Trigger itself, we have just the opposite.

This sort of sexist comment isn't necessary. Ayla, a woman--to whom Azala is a foil--was the leader of her people, in this same time period.

Ayla led the humans. Azala just happened to be the smartest and the strongest I suppose. Another possibility, maybe she was mother to some of them, maybe most of them? Though, I kinda doubt that.
