Wow, everyone is hoping on board the "undead zombie" bandwagon.  I guess you guys don't like the idea of a "Lost World".

Well, It doesn't help "Lost World" idea that, the Rust Tyrano, or should I say Black Tyrano?, looked very undead like. o.o

*look at what Rust Tyrano look like* Never mind, he doesn't look undead like. o.o

Hm.... maybe it one of enemies sound very dead?

Though, none of the enemies LOOK dead. o.o

It looks almost exactly like the other Tyrano, just a different color.

Aye...

So, yeah, you really can't call him undead in looks. >_>

or in the name..

So, perhaps it is the "lost world"?

Why can't you call them undead? The ghost/zombie soldiers in the Northern Ruins also looks exactly like normal soldiers (like those from Guardia) except for a small change in color.

No. They're definately ghosts because they warped in. The Dinosaurs are physical and don't look rotting, neither do they warp in.

Aren't the soldiers at Northern Cape just skeletons? I might be wrong, since I haven't played the game in a while, but I thought I remembered only fighting skeletons there...

The ghosts are not the only things that warp into battle. Many of the enemies in the Ocean Palace are warped into battle also.

True, but in the Ocean Palace there is a conscious person summoning them (Queen Zeal). Yet there seems to be nobody doing any such thing in the Northern Ruins, so I don't think they're artificially created.

What has that to do with anything?
He is the rust tyrano because he is rusty.
Show me the proof that he is called the last tyrano and I will believe you, apart from him being the last tyrano that you face, of course.

    sense in the given context!

Thanks for clearing that up. So rust IS a proper translation, and considering he is rusty, ill take that translation.

It's not "the" proper translation, it's just a pun on 2 words that are written and pronounced the same in Japanese. The pun couldn't be kept in English so they had to choose one of the 2 stuff.

A. "Fountain of Youth" type of environment where these creatures could thrive without outside world influences.

B.  Time-Trap.

C. All of the Above.

D. None of the Above.

Pick one.

Then again, the "Lost World" Thing has been done alot in fiction. That's probably the intended answer, with plants and stuff offscreen because of the Super Nintendo's inferiority.
