The Minimum Requirements
An indy band whom you can find here: http://www.tmrmusic.com

Be sure to check out their free sample songs, in particular "Dog House" and "Maybe Then".

Their album is fully worth the 10 dollars.

The Minimum Requirements - Doghouse

They're alright. Sound like a good combination of alot of "lighter" bands, like Weezer in Maybe Then. A couple of little things bugged me, like for example: the electric guitar in Maybe Then didn't work for me...it was too quiet and distant to work out. Electric guitar as a riff-bearer is not meant for the background.

Overall they're a wee bit too boring/uneventful, musically, for my tastes. Same reason I don't really like Death Cab For Cutie too much, though alot of their stuff is pretty unique and interesting.

...*blink*...uh...rambled. Sorry. Music guy ^_^

I guess I'm partial to them in part since I've actually met, and ate lunch with, the lead singer who goes the same college as I did (or rather he did last year).

As December Leaves - The Postman

http://www.purevolume.com/asdecemberleaves

I guess I'm partial to these guys since the bassist/one of the vocalists/lyricists is my best friend. I know the feeling =)

And it's so awesome to know people are listening to my music.
