Hey chickenlump have you ever tried giving GolemBoss, a Golem's AI?  He would should have all the same animations so I don't think it'd look that bad.    We could edit his stats to make him like 3 golems.....just a thought

Yeah, that would work, and I'm sure there are many other palettes that would look good on them as well.


Are you just wanting more Golem diversity (4 or 5 different types of golems)?
I see this tying in with Magus's Story and Dalton. :)

I'm sure giving a golem a golem boss's AI wouldn't hurt any (as long as it doesn't depend on certain characters to be in the party, or other enemies to be present to function). Different palette/AI/stat/name combinations are certainly possible, you could have an army of the suckers, though, of course, you would have to sacrifice some other enemy. It shouldn't be too hard to decide, the game has tons of palette swapped enemies to eliminate.  :twisted:

Interesting idea, but I'll leave the army of Golems up to the Plot guys.  What I would like now is a fightable Golem Boss.  It'll be the first of two bosses for Magus Story, last boss being Dalton.   I'm thinking Golem AI and all of his stats being 2.5 one golems stats.

I'd play around with it but the AI's don't seem to match up for me....like i switch an AI for an imp and he does rust tyrano's moves....

I'll need just one piece of info before I make him.
You need to sacrifice an enemy. Make it a clone, or a palette swap, and choose wisely, but DO choose one for me, I am not certain what enemies are appearing in Crimson Echoes, and me just deciding what one to wipe out would be uncalled for. I won't need to overwrite any graphics, so no concern there. *big thumbs up*

What's the reason you can't use Golem Boss (I believe you, I'm just curious)

Um you can use Amphibite {4E} or if you need a boss I suppose we won't be using Zeal  {25}

I can use him, I just thought you wanted ANOTHER golem creature. Well then, that would require swapping his AI pointer, and changing his stats to suit your needs (I have no idea how strong he should be, where your characters are, what level they are at, what items they have, etc. etc).

I'll use Amphibite, so you have more golems running about, you can pair them up, or something.

Just to give you guys a quick update, there was an issue with the AI and Chickenlump is working on it, he's going to send it to me in a couple days but when it is all said and done we should have a fightable Golem Boss.
