I'd rather think that the name is based on her last name. I mean, they did say that she morned over "King Zeal's" death.

As for Magus, it's not a title. Atleast not to him. To him, it is his new alias name. It's Magus to us if we consider it as "Wise man" etc.

"Demon King" sure sounds like a title though...I mean, even if it's used as a name, I don't think that takes away from the fact that it's also a title...

In Japanese, they do like to use puns. Like Janus was simply "Dark Energy" and then he turns into "Demon King". Even Lynx was "Demon Cat".

Queen Zeal is definately shorter for "The Queen of Zeal" just like "The Queen of England" whom we could call Queen England (although we know her name) or King Spain.

no, Tsuki means moon. Tsukuyomi is another word entirely, talking about the Moon's Phases. But I think you may have meant Tsukuyami, which means Dark Moon, which is Harle.

Actually, the Missing Piece book calls Harle "Tukuyomi". Weird.

I guess Tsukuyami makes better sence. Japanese is such a complicated language. But I LOVE IT! Like is it getsu or nichi yobi which is moon day? XD And the Kanji for it looks funny XD

Hey Aura, what does the ki and ku and Tsuki and Tsuku make such a difference? Or is it the Yami/Yomi part?

Ki and Ku are female and male terms in Japanese, just like La and Lo (I think?) in Spanish or French. The same goes for Yami and Yomi. Although, if we're talking about Harle herself, it'd be Yomi, since Yomi is female, but the moon is sometimes referred to as male because of he Man in the Moon myth, hence the Yami. (Although tradition has referred to the Moon as female because it's associated with a goddess, but what with foreigners sharing their ideas and crap >_> bugger off.)

in french it is le (male) and la (female). In spanish it is el and possible al, but I dont know.
