CC - Serge, Glenn, Kid (whenever possible!!!),   Fargo when Kid isn't around, Harle the entire time I have her.

I've always been a sucker for using a party that's crucial to the storyline, rather than characters that have cool spells/attacks/do better in battle.

CT - Crono, Lucca, Marle is always my party for Lavos.
CC - Serge, Kid, then depending on the scenario, the third slot goes to either Glenn, Guile, or Harle.

FF6 - Tina/Celes/Locke/Edgar
FF7 - Cloud/RedXIII/Tifa
FF8 - don't care, I played the game once trhough and hated it.
FF9 - Dagger/Zidane/Vivi/Steiner
FF10 - see FF8.

Basically, with a few exceptions, I primarily use the characters you get at the beginning of the game.

CT=Chrono, Lucca, and Marle!!

CC=(there's 2) Serge, Kid, and Glenn and the Lynx, Harle, and Norrius!

CT: For the longest time I was using Chrono, Frog, Ayla, mainly because of two reasons. Slurp Kiss and Falcon Hit. 3D Attack was also a physical powerhouse, no matter that it took 15 or so MP from Ayla. On my most recent playthrough I've been using Chrono, Lucca, and Frog. Maybe I just liked it when I was in the Cathedral. Lucca is just a magical BEAST, and Chrono and Frog are both well rounded characters with enough power everywhere to make them nigh on the best.


CC: I usually use Serge, Glenn, and... I can't remember. I think I used Viper  once. I also wanna say that I used Serge, Glenn, Karsh on one playthrough, but then I realized that I didn't want two green Innates in one party. I figure White/Green/Yellow is a good enough balance, and Viper is just a badass. I used Fargo once as well I think.

CT = Crono, Lucca, Marle was my most used party for the game. To beat lavos fast I use Ayla instead of marle. Magus, really seemed to have lackluster spells, I never knew why people liked him as a party member, I could see why they liked his character. Robo and Frog also had lackluster spells, but robo might as well replace crono since he has a luminaire of his own.

CC- God I hated all those characters, Glenn was the only semi decent character. All of the other ones were either transvestites, old men, or random objects animated. I basically chose my party at random they all stunk.

Magus, really seemed to have lackluster spells, I never knew why people liked him as a party member, I could see why they liked his character.

His magic far exceeds anyone in CT. I remember one thing in my first play through, at that was . . . if I never obtained Magus, I would've never defeated Lavos the way I did the first time through. Dark Matter might have just been called Absolute Rape.

especially for their triple tech.  It must be noted that there really are no truly sucky characters in CT.

CC:  Serge, Kid/Glenn, Karsh
I'm not sure how Karsh became one of my favorite characters exactly, but he did, so I use him a lot.  I think I should start using Guile more though, too.
