1. Where can i delete or move the ship from guardia?
2. how can i change the main character from chrono to marle?
3. I want to move the "ozzies realm" and the "magus liar" from middle age to present, where, how?
4. which adress (unheadered) is the "time window"? ( that 1000 AD on the left corner )
5. can i add music?
6. can i change the standard names?

i'm pretty new in the "rom hacking" buisness because i'm a spriter... but i try to remake the "chrono gaiden" radical dreamers... using the infos from Chrono Compendium... i have'nt played chrono cross so i dont know many things T_T but i try my best...

7. What Element and Weapon does Kid and Serge use?
8. Any Change Suggestions?

Dude holy crap! very nice!.  I'm not sure bout 1-3, you want to basically remove the 1000 AD thing?.  I can try to figure that out.
5) from what i've seen you can't add music, just remix them.
6)yes u CAN change the standard names.
7) Kid is a fire elemental, and uses Daggers.  Serge is a white elemental, I think lightning maybe as well.  Since luminare is the ultimate lightning tech.  He uses a swallow? as a weapon.  http://www.rpgplanet.com/chrono/images/cc/mc-fig-serge.jpg
Sure it's a doll but it has the weapon he uses.

I can't think of anything else you can do with the map.  All i have to say is nice job.

Ah dang, someone already made an RD overworld. I had this wild idea about having an RD hack use 4 overworlds (NW, SW, NE, SE parts of the world) all in the 1000 A.D. tileset. That would give sufficient room to make new towns without having it appear crammed. I'd also lead to a HUGE world...you'd get to the different quadrants by taking an exit in the center of each border on the two sides the quadrant is bordered on.

Anyway,

1. It's in OW events; look for where you see the sound effect "Ferry Horn." Make a backup, and try deleting the sequence of events that sound effect is a member of. There might be two of those event packs (trip to Porre and trip back).
2. I believe a couple other people have experimented with that, so I'll let them answer.

i didnt do anything more than the sideview, the avatars and the overworld look... when i fixed the general look and added the other sides of serge, i try to make something about the look of the sword... that it more look like serge's

I've started making an RD hack, haven't announced it before. I've just started hacking the graphics and made a debug room, changed the names and that.
I'm just going through the process of doing all the main character sprites, but its going to take a while-there's too many!! Anyway looks cool.

Below the green line is the code that handles the overworlds' Year graphic, that pops up in the lower left hand corner. You can change the graphic, move the graphic around the screen, change the timer to wait longer or not as long, remove the year popping up completely, and other crazy things (I've had fun putting a sound in when the graphic appears).

It's located directly below the overworld music transition event code, and might be in the same spot in the other oveworld events.

You cannot go from Overworld to Overworld, I do not think.  At the very least, I know you cannot go from one spot on the OW to a different spot on the same OW.

This could be pretty easily gotten around though.  Just put in a Location scene showing a boat floating across the ocean or something.

i will let the coding things now , more aside... until i've done the player graphics done.... the sheet in the rom is pretty....chaotic ^^;; so i try to make the full sheet first

As far as the weapons that Serge and Kid use, you could go with the what they were using in RD.  Serge, I know, uses a knife and Kid tended to beat the crap out of things with her bare hands (used a lot of kicks too I think), although I want to say that she may have used a knife as well once or twice, although I could be wrong about.  Magil, as you may expect, used no weapons, only magic.

Keep on going!  It's looking awesome so far.

thx for your suggestions you all... but as i say i will work on the general graphics... how i make "new wapons"

hmmm, i have to look... i just can exchange the graphics in the rom and the sword has very small areas...

ah... please post ideas and things which could help for a newbie like me in this scene... but you dont have to wait for updates because they will be terrible slow....

why? : thats not my main project and not my biggest and my only "rom hack" project right now... but i wont stop any of my projects, so you will have it someday :P

Holy crap, is EVERYBODY doing a Radical Dreamer's romhack? I have a friend of mine writing a (slightly-extended) script for it at the moment. Wow. The Chrono Compendium needs to coordinate something - I think.
