I always thought the seal was just being cast, and seeing as how Serge shakes his head when Leena asks him what happans... I mean Leena, an active member of the quest. I think his memories are quickly fleeting, and for a few seconds he still remembers some places.

Yeah, I kind of had the same idea. I'd think that when he'd wake up, all the information would be disapearing, but to him it'd have been like a nightmare. So he's wake up and start rambling on like "Terra Tower, Dragon God, Kid! Lynx!!!!" etc and then Leena would be like "What are you talking about? Terra Tower? Dragon God?" and then Serge would be like "huh?" lol.

It's in fact just LIKE having a dream: Serge wakes up, remembers something happaned, maybe remembers a couple of details, but trying to remember is like trying to hold water in your cupped hands.

And then later he'll probably have like Deja Vu and stuff.

Remember, powerful and emotional dreams can take a hold on people for a while. Though no one can remember a whole of one dream, some people may remember lots of minor parts or a few major parts. Ive had these sort of things before....but that usually only happens when there bad dreams (not nightmares but the in-the-middle type ones). So im guessing Serge wouldnt completely forget everything that happened.

Agreed. I'd outline the distress he felt when he lost his body to Lynx.

Well, it seems from Dark Serge's demonstrations that the Flame's power has to be consciously used. The Flame basically responds to thoughts and dreams, so I don't know how Serge can subconsciously use it to see things he doesn't want to see. (Like his own demise.) While it probably is the Flame, I just wanted to play with the possibility that the prophetic dreams is his innate magic or something. XP

It could be an innate gift, unrelated to the Flame. Serge isn't the only person to have had prophetic dreams, Ayla had one in CT too. Though, one could argue that her visions were put in her mind by the Entity or something like that.

I still think Serge's visions were due to the Flame though. The repetitions of his "Time Crash" one each time he faces the Flame seem to imply it.

Yea well... >_> The Entity can kiss my bony asian ass.

And the Flame needs to stay out of perfectly good ideas for character development for a very lacking character.

...where did you guys get the idea Ayla's actions were based on dreams? She could've just been hunting for food. Or maybe she jogs every morning to and through the Mystic Mountains and back. *shrug* I don't remember ever hearing about Ayla having dreams.

Crono had a dream, though.

Come to think of it, what exactly was the point of Crono's dream. So what it showed his future, the future that probably didnt even end up happening.

I wonder could that mean something?

But what does Crono's dream got to do with anything though? Unless I missed something with that...
