Playstation release question...

Did anyone else buy an English copy of the game released in the United States, but still got animatics on the disc that remained in the original Japanese? I'm not sure wether I got something really rare, or I just got another version of the same disc.

My endings are still in Japanese, for whatever reason. And this is the player's release version, too. Weird.

Everything is English on my copy.

That's actually really weird now that I think about it!
I bought the Greatest Hits copy where all the captions were in Japanese, but my friend got a Greatest Hits where everything was translated.
Now I am incredibly confused...

Yeah, my copy is all english too. Though theres a loading error on it, unscratched or buffed. Are you talking about the Final Fantasy Chronicals pack?

Yeah, it's the Greatest Hits version that comes in Final Fantasy Chronicles.

I bought the Chonicles two game set when it first came out, and everything is in English for me.

Actually, it's supposed to be like that. The "black-label" version came with English cutscenes but with the GH version SE goofed and put the Jap scenes in.
