When I tried toothpaste it actually worked, with the help of vasoline, but only for a while and not very well.  It eventually got worse the more I did it to keep the disk alive.  Only recently has it stopped working almost completly.  I can play as far as the dead sea.


I think you can buy CD repair kits.

I don't know how expensive it is (or if the repairs apply to PSX discs), but you could always try and get that Skip Dr. thing and try and fix your disc with that....
