Lavos's control on us Humans (CT spoiler warning)
« on: March 13, 2006, 05:17:49 pm »
in CT, at the very end, it's stated having seen Lavos as a "humanoid" life form having controlled nature and the way of how the organisms matured . . .

. . . leading to us being harvested and all the good stuff

something jumped into my head

does this also mean that Lavos controlled our dreams?

for example, when we enter REM, is everything still based on our human psyche or is it manifested by Lavos?

In a really, really grand scale, you could say so? But if you go that far everything that happens on this planet is controlled by Lavos. And a shooting star flying seventy five hundred lightyears away.

I don't think Lavos enjoys meddling with such miniscule aspect of humanity... But nothing says it can't. After all, Lavos can use magic. Or something.

Well, if you look closer and think about it..
Lavos has indirectely harvested humans.

Think about it.
He landed, killing off the reptites. Humans flurished. Then around 3,000,000BC, the Frozen Flame had first contact and everyone started to rapidly evolve.
Then, through their evolution, they gained magic, then lost it.
Then they advanced with technology.

Now all this time, Lavos has been absorbing their DNA and good genes so he could perfect himself. And in the end, he wants to kill them all off so his children can thrive.

I don't think Lavos controls dreams. He doesn't even dream himself (Queen Zeal speaks about his "eternal nightmare" and stuff). Lavos isn't fate, and even the FATE computer doesn't control dreams.

As Truman Burbanks would say, "You never had a camera in my head!".

I also doubt that Lavos messed in anyone's head (except maybe Zeal's) due to his large task at hand and the pointlessness of the task. I mean really, Lavos is an intelligent being, what would he gain out of wasting his time doing this? Nothing.

Don't worry about it. You'll get the feel for it soon enough.

The young Prince is doing well actually. He can't be new to the site. He registered in 2005.

I registered then but I never actually used the forums. My first post was 3 days ago. All I used to do was read the articles and stuff.

The topic was answered, it's complete and I see no other reason to keep it alive for other users to discuss how long they've been in the forum.
