Would you buy a console for a new Chrono game?

I'd be first in line.

I'd consider it, but I might wait until I have discretionary income or more games are out as a reason to buy.
14 (43.8%)
I wouldn't buy a console just for a new Chrono game, no.

Yeah, I think it's pretty obvious that FFVII was the highest NA selling, come on now.
Top five games for the PSX:

Gran Turismo (10.85 million)
Final Fantasy VII (9.8 million)
Gran Turismo 2 (9.37 million)
Tomb Raider II (8 million)
Metal Gear Solid (7 million)

How that can be possible Gran Turismo, There are better racing games for PSone than that.

Not for realistic racing & licensed cars. That's been the staple of the whole series and it's worked and they've garnered a heavy fanbase because of their consistency. I LOVED the later GTs when they included rally racing! The series was yet another of Sony's killer apps.

Gran Turismo owns all racing games, I think. It's the most realistic racing series in existence (At least that I have played). On that note, what racing games were better for PS1 than Gran Turismo(2)?

Yeah, seriously, I can't think of any that were any good at all...except maybe one of the Tokyo Xtreme Racers...and none of those are anywhere near as good as the Gran Tourismo games.

Ridge Racer was alright...a bit stale though...I only really got into the PSP one...and only because it was one of the launch titles, really...As I recall, it was an ok arcade series...unless I'm thinking of something else.

Well, I gotta say that Ridge Racer in no way compares to Gran Turismo in quality. GT owns in racing, period. It is in no way overrated as the best racing series in existence. Ridge Racer may be good as well (I lost interest in the series quickly), but it doesn't even compare in realism, customization, or anything else for that matter. GT FTW!

Gran Turismo... absolutely amazing game... I've got 1,3,and 4. I want GT 5 so bad.

The only problem with GT though is the lack of car damage and wrecks, but other than that, I love rally events and so much more!!!

Yeah, I don't see how car damage is a big deal anyways...I mean, in RPGs if you get hit, you don't get wounds on your body, right? Although that'd be friggin cool! And then you could get scars! HELLS YEAH!!! Somebody get on it!

>_>

The Lord of the Rings: The Third Age you get hurt and it shows up. By the end of I fight your bleeding profusely with arrow sticking ever whichway and I think you can catch fire. The models reset after every fight even if you HP doesn't I think, Its been a while.

A man that rpg was absolutly amazing and it shows the armors and boots is even better than some FF, it;s too realistic aswell, for me it was one of the best rpg that I have played(even my cousin liked it and he hate RPG).
