why not then have frog fix his frog problem, or marle with her mother, crono with his father, etc etc...? A pointless fix and waste of energy...

But then you could say that Balthasar used that to fuel her want for advanced technology and then later allowed her to right that which is no longer needed.

Because the others wouldn't have benefited in the same way.

Glenn would not have profited from going back and saving Cyrus from death, because his problem wasn't that Cyrus died. His problem was that he always lacked the confidence in himself that he needed. He needed to find peace after the fact in order to give himself the strength to be a hero.

Marle could possibly have benefited from it, but she matured because she realized that the Chancellor had been lying about her mother. Had she been able to witness the events herself, or prevented them, she would have been deprived of that maturity and trust of her father.

Crono's father isn't even a concrete point. We don't know anything about him. Some people think that he's dead/divorced/MIA/Dalton/on a business trip, and that caused Crono to train and be buff. On the other hand, Son Goku could have just flew in and had a one-night stand with Gina. Moot point.

On another point, you could say that this was the only possible way in which Lucca could find peace. Glenn was able to find his in Cyrus's blessing and forgiveness. Marle in her relationship with her father. And Crono in whatever the hell he was doing. Lucca didn't have that luxury.

BTW, even if Lara doesn't lose her legs, Lucca's journal states that she still had a passion for technology after the incident.

I didn't mean cyrus i meant him being a frog v.v Cyrus being dead isn't a problem

She died of a sickness. Marle could cured her possably with her power.

Yes after the incident, regaurdless of whether she was paralyzed or not, meaning it was the accident that changed her and not the paralysis, but the passion is reduced because it wasn't as extreme a happening.

You mean why the Entity didn't change Glenn back into a Frog? Why should it? If Glenn was able to find his inner strength as the lowest of low, did that not carry greater meaning than if he had found it at the highest of highs?

If Marle had prevented her mother's death, then she never would have the strong maturity she had as a result of her reconciliation.

And I think Lucca still had the same passion regardless.

Well, most of this seems like it's stuff that's been discussed in other threads and some of it seems more fitting for other forums...but what-the-hey...

Another thing that may be just a coincidence is that Lucca, Crono, and Glenn. All of which seem to have been pretty much hand picked for this adventure have Purple, Red, and Green hair which none of the other characters in the game have those colors. This could be due to genetic alterations done to them by Gespar and Balthasar to make them stronger. Note that Crono is the strongest and balanced, Glenn is the only person to be able to wield the masamune from what we understand, and lucca is not only super intelligent but also xtremely magically powerful.

Glenn's old sprite is used for other NPCs in the game. So other people in Crono World have green hair. If you take into account the people in Chrono Cross...People (and even a few main characters) share the other colors as well. I mean, if we know that Purple (Zealians) and Green (various NPCs...and Nu...OMG! Glenn must be decended from Nu!...>_>) exist why should we think that Pink and Red (which is a natural hair color in our world, Crono's is just more pronounced) would be such a big deal? I mean, if she can create robots, a gate key and various guns why is hair dye such a leap of faith? I mean, maybe it's not a coincidence that the inventer girl and her best friend have special hair colors because they made them that way.

OoooOOOoooo...Special hair...must be some kind of magical conspiracy or genetic tampering!

:P

Well Crono's obviously related to Son Goku, so his hair has it's own consciousness.

Yeah... Goku had some fun in Super Saiyan 4...

Anyhow I really don't see significance in hair colors any more...  Main characters usually get funky hair colors, normal people get less obvious colors.  Funky hair = usually a significant person.  In Zeal everyone has blue hair so relatively its not funky.  In 1000 AD people don't have purple hair so its funky.

Only women and Janus had blue hair in Zeal. All men had blond or white hair. A lot of women had purple hair in 600 A.D. though.

What proves the theory that Lucca is actually from 600 A.D. and evil Taban used the Telepod she created in order to go back in time and abduct Lucca so that she could create the Telepod for him to go back in time and abduct Luc--

Freaky.

p.s.: I've always seen Crono as some kind of SSJ2 Gohan's clone that has gone wrong or uses some sort of kaioh-ken.. The only flaw in this theory is that it is Frog who gets to wield the Masamune=Z Sword, and not Crono. Too bad :/

Think of him as Goku and it all works out. Come on Crono, Sprit Bomb Lavos, it's your only chance!

If we think hard Luminaire looks a lot like a Spirit Bomb... At least CC's Luminaire;

This totally ends the debate of whether or not Crono lived through the attack on Guardia! He's a SUPER SAIYAN! Now it all makes sense how he could've beat Lavos all on his own in the New Game+!

Of course! This also makes sense on why he has the goddamn tail! And why his mum gave him a wooden sword! And of course, why Akira Toriyama drew him!
