And one moon, until Harle's creation anyway.

No, there's two moons. In the scene where you break into Viper Manor, and the FMV where the Sky Dragon flies overhead, you see two moons, one white/blue and the other reddish I think.

Yeah, and in CT in the balloon ending, there's only one moon. When exactly was Harle created? I know she appears to be 18, and the game says 18, but she was probably created around the time that Serge was saved, right?

Kato stated that the dark moon appeared during the Time Crash, but in the game we don't see it in the orphanage sequence... That's one of the best candidate for "plot-hole" in CC. It's very strange.

Maybe the second moon appear in El Nido because of dimensional distortion when Serge was saved from drowning. One moon came from the Homeworld while the other moon from the Anotherworld.

There's two moons post dimensional split though, and there were two before it anyway. And I don't remember Kato stating that the moon came with the time crash. Quotes please :O

Ultimania, "Ask Mr. Kato" section:

Quote
Question: The world in the stage in 'Chrono Trigger' had only one moon. And
that same world as the stage in 'Chrono Cross' had two moons. Why would that
be so?

Answer: As a result of the time clash, the dimensions split. The point in
time where Chronopolis and Dinopolis was hurled to, another moon came in
existence.

Wow, that sounds so retarded. "As a result of the time 'clash', the dimension split".

Err, the dimensions didn't split because of the time crash. Contradiction to the game =.= Serge made the dimensional split by dying, and being saved by Kid.
.. Because Chronopolis and Dinopolis appeared out of nowhere in the past, another moon had to come into existance, randomly... Yup.. PLOTHOLE! XD

Maybe Harle, when she disappears, becomes the moon.

Back to the topic of where is El Nido:

I was playing Radical Dreamers last night, and they say that Porre is to the south. Granted that this isn't exactly right in line with the Chrono Series, but it's pretty darn close. In my opinion, I would say that El Nido is somewhere between Zenan and Porre, probably on a similar latitude to Zenan Brdige.

I don't think Radical Dreamers takes place in El Nido. Viper Manor is just a location in the Chrono world.

Yeah, El Nido does not exist in the RD dimension. They say that Porre is "the major power of the East" in CC.

East and West are the only two directions we should really concern ourselves with though. If you travel East, you will continue to go East. Travel West, you will continue to travel West. Travel North, and it will eventually turn into South, and vice versa. So technically, when they say Northern countries, they could just as well be talking about Southern countries. I like where Chrono Crisis placed it though, it seems fairly accurate (although I'm curious if it's that big in relation)
