That statement contradicts known canon. The Entity went OUT OF IT'S WAY to manipulate Crono and co into getting on their quest to beat Lavos, and similarly, Belthasar orchestrated several timelines worth of history to get Serge to do what he did.

Fair enough.

But I have a question: Did the Entity go out of it's way to specifically target Crono and the others? Or did he just go out of it's way to pick SOMEONE. Not sure if that made sense, probably worded it wrong  :lol:

Crono and co. were there and conveinent. It picked them because they were in the right place in the wrong time. (quite literally, if you remember how their adventure began.)

But doesn't it relate back to the fact that Marle had the pendant?

And isn't it a little to convinient that Marle meets all her ancestors?

The only reason why she met up with all her ancestors was because of the gates. Blame Queen Zeal for her madness and Janus with the Gurus for being sucked into the random created gates that varied with time, but all happened to be future periods. That is the only solution as to how she met up with them.
