There, now I can actually see the forum content. This is still just a temporary style. Now if the server's FTP client doesn't keep choking on me, I'll download and convert some of the old themes for users to select.

I have no clue how this looks on Windows BTW.

Keep in mind the look is temporary.

Also, the issues with avatars/smileys/other images should have all been fixed by now. Let me know if anything persists.
Change to a different theme (I am using the black one) and smilies gone again...

Fixed. They should now work in the black one too. You might have to clear your browser's cache to get them to load.

Okay, I'll leave it on this black theme, go get some dinner, then come back to port Zeality's previous theme to the new forums. Then I'll go back and try tackling the Compendium theme again. Everything should be in a fairly stable state, so I'll start working on my local copy. Expect to see results sometime tomorrow.

Okay, great. If you need a banner, we can come up with something. Take any necessary liberties in copying over my "dark" theme. I noticed the text is a little small with the current black theme, but you were probably aware of that 3 hours ago.

Thanks for all your work. To add to your to-do list, at some point I'd like to see a custom theme that isn't so friggin' dark. Graz. Also, I seem to have lost Mod powers on my board. I had my name in that nifty green font for barely a day, and now poof! I'm just one of the herd again...

I'm also working on my own theme to blend in with the rest of the site. I had it on a few minutes ago, but the logging system was picking up a lot of errors from it (as well as this black theme...), so I removed it for now.

The template system SMF uses isn't very attractive from a designer's point of view, so I might have to write up some tools to make it a lot easier.

BTW, if anything bad happens while I'm away, just change the forum default theme to Babylon.

Why does every post have a vertical scroll bar?

Looks like I'll have to install Konqueror as well...

My avatar still seemed to be having size problems in another topic. Keep in mind that I chose mine from the gallery, as well.

EDIT: It doesn't seem to be having problems here, though.

Not sure if you know this but I seem to be havingsome issues when i try the "previous" button on some topics (not all...which I guess means it's harder to figure out why).  But this topic I couldn't hit the previous button and the slogan topic in the general discussion had the same problem.

I'll do some more checking around

I hope this isn't a sign of more database corruption issues.

I was not aware of it being temporary. I whooped out the Prophet avatar because Pierre was lost forever. The new look is great and the features will come in handy in the future. Well done :)

Sorry for the double post. I have a problem. All the pictures seem to be still there, CT-CC-RD and other fan art avatars, but I can't access them. There's a little white box with a red box next to my original hyperlink avatar from my site. I've tried logging on and off but still nothing. I doubt it's my firewall but anything is possible.

Any ideas?
