...though such education is something I can't do with what I want to do in life. That being a video game tester. What I meant by that was that maybe someone should go and ask Kato about it.

I'm sorry but I just felt the need to point out that a video game tester isn't an actual career, a design and programming company simply hires people who are willing to apply and have them sit and play the game for a set amount of time while the testers take notes on bugs and fixable factors of the game. They're given a fair amount of cash and sent on their way back to their day job.

If you'd really like to get into the industry, go for programming or storyboard/character design, that's where the real action is.

Being a tester is at least one way to get paid for doing it.

You can't just walk around and hope to be accepted as a tester, nor can you live off what they're paid for one-time sessions. There is no "freelance tester". I won't blame you for wanting to be a tester, but...

The Chrono Compendium - you'd best focus on getting a routine, decent-paying job first and foremost.
