I don't know if it was a "poor" choice on Woosley's part, I mean, a lot of people like Frog's stupid accent...though if it somehow spawned the butchery in CC, then I'll gladly say that I DO hate him...But, anyways, Frog talking like that is basically just another cliché topping on the cake.

Frog is -not- suppose to have an accent...  Its just something that was put into the American version.

Is there a proper retranslation for the Chrono Trigger game that I can use and keep all my old "regular Chrono Trigger" files and play them on the retranslation?

Frog's accent wouldn't be such a problem if everyone from 600 AD spoke like him, which would have been a nice touch actually.

please understand that this isn't a knock against frog-speak, but...

it would've been nice had he not gone back and forth between shakespearean-speak and modern-speak.

please note, that wasn't a complaint.  i never even noticed it until seeing it here on the forums.  but once i was informed of it... i def. noticed it.

It would've been nice and probably more consistent...    :|

But then again, who said Chrono Trigger was a consistent game. (at *very* least in the NA version.) It tends to leave a lot of things unexplained and, as such, things such as realism, consistency, and purpose are usually up for a *lot* of interpretation (explanations such as entities, dumb luck, and lack of oversight usually arise.).
But, hey everything works out in the end and thats all that really matters, right?  :wink:

I am a new member but an original CT player. This website is the best thing since sliced bread and the game remakes are the best thing that could happen to us loyal fans. Keep up the GREAT work on the new game!!!!
