Yeah, well, I hear time travelling and killing monsters and the like are expensive past times. Where else do you think she gets the money?

Ho ho ho!
No, that wasn't meant to be "ho" as in "whore"...

But I've always wondered: what the heck are monsters doing with money? I mean, a dragon being wealthy and bringing riches to the slayer I can understand. But when you kills some overzealous forest denzien where none of humanity dares otherwise tread... why find money from them? Do they have wallets that one can just pilfer from? It makes little sense...

I actually made a simple answer: they accidently eat gil wallets when they kill someone and eat them.
I can just imagine Crono slicing open a Bellbird's stomach and stealing a Gil wallet from it.

Disgusting. Simply disgusting. They've dared to put the graceful and sweet Princess of Zeal in that kind of costume... That's as low as it gets.
um... Kid anyone?

You can't see through Kid's top. >_>
you can't see through schala's either, its just form fitting.

Crappy? No matter what you think of the subject matter, the quality of the drawing is rather good.

not really. the coloring maybe, but the line art isn't.
well, maybe its cause I'm an artist myself, but I can point out a bunch of simple amateur errors and see it differently.

eyes are lopsided, her left arm is funky, her hair is inked in oddly, he boob don't match her lean, he neck is inked against it's coloring, the legs are crooked to the body lean, her shoulds are crooked to the body lean, incomplete circling of her left boob, making it look like he boody cuts off, right ear is bigger then the left, also flatter. and lastly, her pink on the left hand is curved in. that's an unnatural position if the rest of the hand is flat. try it. it's kinda painful to even attempt to keep in place. you can't: the pink kinda moves in synch with the ring finger (right one?)

ah hell, I'll just show you: http://img49.imageshack.us/img49/9426/schala1a0hc.jpg

1) Those "crooked" parts are seen as sexy, and because Schala is basically modelling here...
2) The incomplete circling of the left boob was on purpose. Thats how it is meant to be drawn.
3) Left Right Pinky? I believe it is just behind the Ring Finger.
4) Everything else, bull.

You can see Schala's nipples, and it's more than just form.

defending a drawing against critisism is a bad thing you know.

that wasn't "how it was suppose to be drawn: it's an amateur mistake coverd by a simple excuse. a breast should flow along from a single line. if the line was penciled in from the beginning, he wouldn't have pulled it, and it would have looked natural.

The arm is wrong because no one's arm concaves at the should that deeply or gently.

As for calling everything else bull: signs in someone who's never faces scurtany under a drawing. if you can't handle the comments made by other artists and critics, don't bother drawing. frankly, the line art is very poor, the inking is really amateur, and the dude probably should used white out instead double layering.

There's a ton of amatue mistakes in this drawing, just like in my own I make mistakes/annoyances. people often complain about the fact I never draw feet/that my feet look kh style/ no legs/ I don't understand the piece/ I use stock body models to draw off of.

Really man, to say the lineart is good and to say I'm bullshitting is just not helpful. you can pretty much tell the guy has either self taught himself or is currently learning how to draw.

Its not good art, I've seen better of the same subject (literally. >.> but I ain't getting into that) and the finger pose: do it with your hand with putting pressure: YOU CAN'T. the fingers strain out: its not natural for them. make a pistol with your hand, you two bottom fingers start to hurt after a few seconds: that's why you usually do it with your index.

And no: its HER LEFT side. she's just extremely lopsided.

Now that is one of video gaming's great questions--and a noble, albeit doomed, attempt to change the subject. RPG world economies seem to be as strange in their operation as the premise of magic. The fact that most of a given world's wealth is usually concentrated in the hands of generic monsters, is either a stupendous allegory of the insignificance and pettiness of the people of this world, or, far more likely, an evolved convenience that was never given much thought. Back in the tabletop RPing era, questers needed a reason to explore various dungeons and caves, and thoughtless DMs supplanted the allure of a good plotline with the temptation of riches and treasures. It became something of a tradition to find money and items on the bodies of slaughtered monsters, rather than simply getting experience points. Traditions are like that: It's easier to explain where they came from than why they continue to be practiced today.
