Yeah. Hopeful and amusing, but once again, SE wants cold, hard cash. If they see they can make that, then they'll consider a sequel.

SE wants hard cash, but at least they have enough respect for the different directors and don't mess around with who "owns" each series. The Nomura games are still made by Nomura's team, the VP series is still made by Tri-Ace, the DQ series by Yuji Horii, etc. There are some changes with the FF series, but this series is becoming a series of subseries anyway so this doesn't really count. And even though some people disliked FFX-2 but liked FFX, both games were directed by the same guy...

So I assume that SE won't commit the mistake of making a Chrono sequel without Kato.
