I'm back!
« on: May 31, 2006, 05:17:14 am »
Been a long couple of months, but I return with a fascination in all things Chrono.

Some interesting things have happened that some of you already know. First off, it turns out I'm not going to be a teen parent after all. The girl I knocked up accidentally had her friend stomp on her stomach, so she miscarried. To be honest, I don't care. Please don't offer condolences. It sounds rough and evil, but I have my reasons.

In any case, I see that Crimson Echoes has made some real progress, and I'd love to begin working with the team again, if our kind directors would allow it. ;3

So, hello all.

Are you joking? I'm not sure whether to be more disgusted at your ignorance and that of those involved in your girlfriend's miscarriage, or at the pro-lifers whose uncompromising hatred of women has allowed our culture to sink so far that young fools would resort to physically assaulting somebody rather than helping her seek a safe and legal abortion. The depths of stupidity in this story are astounding, and, under these circumstances, that kind of violence against a woman--against anybody--is reprehensible. You ought to be ashamed of yourself.

It's Oklahoma.

This is the first time in ages a quote's sent me sprawling onto the floor.

And Lord J, it is pure, uncompromising ignorance to generalize pro-lifers as all hating women. I don't think all my female mostly-Catholic friends are hating on themselves when they voice their views, that's for damn sure. They have their own views on life's origins, and we pro-choicers have our views as well. Besides, considering it's the pro-lifers that hold the vast majority of public offices in this country, I guess all that mysogyny won't be going to waste until midterm elections, now will it?

I don't agree with restricting a woman's right to choose what to do with an extension of her own body, but  I also don't go around using whatever outlet I can find to blast conservatives out of the water for holding different views.

Oh yeah. Uh, welcome back, Exodus. @.x

I still think that Kid image is the hottest thing ever. -cough.-

You have to ask yourself what the ramifications of one's ideology are. "Hatred" not necessarily in the conscious sense--it would very from person to person, as you said--but rather in the terms of what one's beliefs lead to. I'd call the physical assault of a pregnant woman a lamentable circumstance; wouldn't you?

Ah, Josh. Still full of that delightful cynicism, I see. Perhaps you could learn to read in the near future, as I had no knowledge of her miscarriage until after it happened. I'm not entirely sure why I should be ashamed, having offered to pay for an abortion. As to why I don't care, you might be wondering: I was to be alotted no time with the child anyway. I was expected to make payments to support said child, but I wasn't to be allowed any time with it until it was an adult and could make decisions on its own.

In any case, it is hardly your right to pass any judgement on the situation. Perhaps when you've shared similar experiences we can talk about this situation, and I'll be more than willing to have you tell me what a terrible person I am for having unprotected sex whilst drunk, but until that time comes, zip it. Nobody cares about your opinions you've formulated based on the experiences of others nor your seemingly self-contradicting view points on the value of life. Knock it off.

Ah, so you didn't play any role in it. Well, then. You should have said that in the first place. You're off the hook.

EDIT: How exactly did she "stomp" on her stomach . . .

If your willing to talk about it, I am curious. Ignore my humor.
