Microsoft isn't all bad. They've done a lot for the Seattle region, and many of Microsoft's top people have made generous and meaningful donations to the University and elsewhere in the community. As for Microsoft's products, well, I guess it depends on who you ask. They're no Joshfox Mega Zillion Corp.

i dont mean to belittle their donations, but consider the source.  they are able to donate money because of ruthless business practices.  also donations are tax write offs.

i dont exactly understand what you mean.  i said the donations are done not because they care, because of image.  appreciate the arcasm though.  also microsoft obviously isnt ruthless because if they were they wouldnt have to pay somewhere close to 600 million in fines due being monopolistic.

when the 360 was being released it was said that close to 100% of the xbox 1 games were going backward compatible on the 360.  now peter moore has decided to change his mind.  ign had a decent article on it.   http://xbox.ign.com/articles/710/710983p1.html

also here is the a few of the initial promises before anyone says they didnt promise it.

nobody is concerned anymore about backwards compatibility. We under promised and over delivered on that. It's a very complicated thing... very complex work. I'm just stunned that we have hundreds of games that are backwards compatible.

Nope, looks like almost all top games are there. Which ones aren't?
And first you say that backwards compatibility is an issue, then you say it isn't.
