I've played a lot of SNES RPGs now, like the Breath of Fire games, CT of course, and Lufia. Anyone know anything else i should try?

Seiken Densetsu 3, Super Mario RPG, Live-A-Live (deeper than what you'd think at first glance), Terranigma...

Bahamut Lagoon is very interesting also, it's a tactical RPG and was called Final Fantasy Tactics during the early development phase..

I had Bahamut's Lagoon (on Pc...). Looked awesome, however it was in Japanese. Thank god I know about translation patches now! I'm going to go get it...now...out of my...cupboard.

Seiken Densetsu II & III are both amazing, in different ways. I loved both, yet III is probably the better, but that's only because it was more fun. Storylinewise I'd go number 2. Also, don't rule out number 1! Sure it is in black & white, but I've had fun with it.

Terranigma & Illusion of Gaia are musts. Seriously, you'll be so enthralled with it's storyline. It uses the same premise as Earth, so you get to go to places like the Incan Ruins, and the Great Wall of China! Or something, I dunno. But it rocks, and I love them every bit as much as Chrono Trigger.

Breath of Fire is pretty awesome too. Never heard of Live-a-Live, will check it out (in my cupboard, of course).

The 7th Saga? Honestly, I thought that game was very poor. The story is as developed as Dragon Quest 1's story (i.e. barely any dialogue, you just walk from villages to villages) and the random encounter system can make the player very nervous (enemies are in infinite numbers and run towards you on a radar, so that you get battles even if you don't move at all). This game is sooo hard...

I think someone already mentioned this;

Secret of Mana

You should also try out Zelda: A Link to the Past

Isn't there an easy to reference website somewhere that lists all of them?

I'd recommend Secret of Evermore. While it doesn't have the most impressive story, a lot of the gameplay features are pretty interesting, especially the way it handles money and trade. If you don't mind something that's just fun and cheesy, then give it a try.

FF4 is hands down the best, and greatest game ever made.

Then CT and FF6, of course.

Then Secret of Mana and Secret of Mana 2 (SD3).

Earthbound is also really good.  I enjoyed Secret of Evermore as well.

Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest was decent, when I played it, so I don't know how much I'd recommend it now.

I haven't gotten too far into them yet, but Earthbound, Secret of Mana and Secret of Evermore are all good. Oh, and if you can count Zelda as an RPG(Or even if you don't), LOZ:A Link to the Past is a must play. If you can't find any of those on SNES...*cough*EMULATE*cough*. And TO GREY THE ANGEL: Is Tales of Symphonia also on SNES? I thought it was for GCN... It would be cool to play it in 2D sprite format though.

After reading your reccomendations, I did a bit of research, and decided to try out Terranigma. WOW! It's amazing! Such an awesome story. It's like Secret of Mana in structure, yet way better. Thanks!
