Cell shading is good when used right. I think that WW is a fine example of good cell shading. Although my opinions of the Zelda games are kind of average...To me, they've all been more or less the same ever since LttP...MC was pretty neat though...Ah, GBA, your catalogue is so grand...

I liked the boating. Gives a feeling of scope to the whole thing. But then again, I really like archipelegos, and have a soft spot for stories where the hero is left handed, so the game was catering to me a bit.

Damn fine review, Radical_Dreamer. You've nailed every point.

I used to think the graphics were "shit as", and that I'd like the return to OoT style art direction in Twilight Princess, but now I love it. Let me make a reviewy sort of thing. I really suck at writing, so live with it:

It was exactly this kind of mentality that Shigeru Miyamoto was striving for when he developed the concept. Your comments right there are an affirmation of his genius.

Ocarina of Time, hands down. I'm not just saying that to ride the OoT greatness wave, I actually do love it. All my gaming memories go back to either the Final Fantasy's, Super Mario 64 (strangely which I only played for a bit; it was THAT memorable) or Ocarina of Time. I played it again a while ago; it hasn't lost a bit of it's charm.

OoT, I think I still remember every single event.  It is, simply, a great game. "Master Quest" wasn't that much more difficult either(and a few puzzles were far too boring).

Sooo...the question is: Master Quest or The "normal" version?

Oh btw, I never got that last ghost for the 4th bottle...NEVER...in several playthroughs.

Good for you for actually adding to a conversation! If we had rep points I'd actually consider giving you some...Maybe...lol...As for the question at hand...

Link to the Past. As I said, each Zelda after it was more or less LttP w/a fresh coat of paint...OoT was good, a little easy...but there really isn't much more satisfying (in all of gaming?) than getting your damn horse after somersaulting all over the damn map...I thought that switching wasn't used to it's fullest advantage either...but for a 64 game, it was great. MM was a much better concept than it was an execution.

MM was timed to much for me. But still it was a good game. There all great but theres always going to be a better one then the other. Some people have better thoughts abuot some of them. We all think different. I just want to know witch one people like most.
Looks like O of T

getting all the ghost can take awhile and its alot harder i fyou use a GC controller which isnt calibrated to the game propally so you cant aim as well as you can with a 64 one

and btw  master quest is a pushover ts easier then the normal version by heaps the ONLY and i mean only semi hard part is the lava room in gannons castle where the way you jump on the fallen piller now can be awkward causing you too fall off abit.

windwaker was good just make the boat faster
MM wasnt timed much you could beat the 4th temple boss with 0 magic with 5min on the clock till the moon fell.
all 2d zelda games are awsome and only lack the complexity of puzzles and size due to being 2d and size restrictions.

Oh contrar...contrer...no-fo-way, Ocarina of Time & Super Mario 64 were great for the exact opposite reason, for being a totally new game in itself. Well, actually, you might have something there. It retains the feel of the previous Zelda game, but really, it is a new game.

Best Zelda game?

Ocarina of Time. But I have to say ALTTP was my fav. I grew up playing it :)

OoT just rules - running through Hyrule Field for the first time, trying to make it into the Market before the drawbridge closes - just wonderful.
Just for some little-known facts, it had two dungeons missing (due to deadlines), one was the Wind Temple, the other was an Ice Temple, which is actually the Ice Cavern - it's incomplete if you hack into the beta quest in OoT on the N64.

As for ALTTP, I enjoyed the ability to travel between Light/Dark Worlds, which mirror each other. It's like, "collect the three pendants and face the evil wizard!" Then you do face him, and he sends you into a world with 8 more dungeons to conquer!!! Great stuff.

And Majora's Mask, it was really great. Miyamoto-san went overboard with innovative ideas here, and it shows. Expanding on the mask system from OoT and allowing transformations - and also the Bremen Mask: heheh! March, Link, march! - it was cool. It was lacking in dungeons, though. 4 temples (and the last 'mini-dungeon') and it was all over. It was the darkest Zelda game, but I thought it was humorous too, e.g. Tingle.
