FullMetal Alchemist is the best anime ever. It's unarguable.

Naruto isn't bad, but only as pure fanboy fodder.

gunndam seed (a not o)
dragon ball (since you seem to be refering to the whole series not just Z)

many of those listed are also ones released and shown cut and edited heavily so TV stations can show them to kiddies and the like if you like anime watched it subbed i got nothing against dubbing but original voice actors tend to be better as they spend more time on each scene and producers spend more time looking for sutible VAs for each role

some good ones are neon genesis evangelion, Hellsing and Elfen lied.

both hellsing and cowboy bepob have good english voice actors who fit the role perfectly in both cases for any other one id go with the original japanese ones with english subtitles unless you like hearing some random american off the street who is unable to hide their accent or do voice acting for crap all.

i can list alot more good animes too if you want and subs = original VA and subtitles dubs= new VAs VA= voice actor

Gundam Wing definetely isn't the best anime, but definetely the most memorable for me, not including DBZ, as those aren't exactly happy memories. I used to watch Gundam Wing every weekend, and apart from the first episode, hadn't missed a single episode. I was young though, and was confused with the series/season after the finale of Gundam Wing (it was something...DIFFERENT!), so I stopped watching Gundam...

this other anime move which i cant remember the name of it had this battle robot and they used body parts from humans in them spine,eyes, etc
most other studio ghibli movies i havnt seen yet

Is Chrono Crusade any good? I know it's not an actualy Chrono thing, but I was just wondering.

Chrono crusade is good it has a great story and characters it may not be part of the CT/CC universe but it still has a story and characters just as great.

reading the manga of it as well is good as it expands on areas the anime dosnt explain fully and has a different ending the anime does the same thing too.

dont watch it expecting anything like CT or CC though.

Dunno about Outlaw Star but I heard rumors of a prequel involving Gene before the main story. It might've only been manga though.

Princess Mononoke is good...as is Spirited Away...but if you're going to include films, why no Akira??? Oh, and checks out Serial Experiments Lain...It's a good little head-trippy anime series.
