I emulated some of the GBA games a while back cause I don't have any of the cards nor do I know anyone who would play w/me if I did...I remember when I was in elementary school how totally confused I was by Magic the Gathering...

I guess I found one Yu-Gi-Oh! card in the library a while ago...I use it as a bookmark.

Ok then we'll go with my second choice. Slipher the Sky Dragon, Blue eyes Shining dragon, and Red eyes Black Dragon.

Slifer is banned, 'cause it's uber.

Blue eyes shining dragon is too pointless to use, as you tribute a 4500 ATK Blue eyes Ultimate killing machine to get it out. You're therefore better off with using CyberStein to bring it out right away, megamorph it, and OTK (One Turn Kill).

Red-eyes - I think it's cool too, but, its a 2 tribute monster, with 2400 ATK, whereas Summoned Skull has 2500 ATK for one tribute.

It's something like you see in the anime. But your only opponent is Kaiba.

That sounds terrible. English version Kaiba is such a total bastard.

If you have a GBA or a DS, I advise you buy Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship Tournament 2006 (longest game name in the universe :p )

It rocks, its the most up-to-date, it doesn't have a storyline (cos card games don't need plots :D ) and plays by the proper TCG rules.

I never did figure out how to battle with those cards. Pokemon I did. But never yu-gi-oh. I mostly stuck with watching the shows on cartoon network and things like that.

But the shows teach you how to play...>_> That's the bastard brainwashing fuck of it all, isn't it? Except for polermization...I think the cartoons make that seem easier or something than in the real card game...Or maybe it's just like that because they pick the exact cards to fit their scripted battles...:)

The game's rules was bastardised in the anime till GX. And even that isn't perfect. They still play with 4000 LP, making for a short, crappy game.

Yeah, but battles in the show are already ludicrously long...often times taking over four half-hour episodes! Imagine that doubled!
