It's amazing when a group has teachings which are true in a non-literal sense, there are some others who
1) Blindly believe anything as the absolute truth
2) Go against the belief, attack them by twisting words and making them sound corrupt.
Hey, I'm in the Springtime of Youth, and I robbed a bank and killed the presidents of every nation because I am capable of breaking the heavens and going beyond human potential! But if I'm evil then that means SoY breeds evil, right? And that the creator of such group should be considered evil, isn't it?
No, ZeaLity, I'm not directly attacking your view. After all...
There are cases of this, whether homeopathy, "prayer medicine", etc. but in general it's meant to reflect anti-science attitudes, such as environmental impact and evolution denial. This holds back everyone.
That is after all true for some people who don't care to question merely because they hope they're "good" just because they worship and get away with anything. That kind of attitude is unhealthy, but that isn't true for everyone. There are some who question, some who ponder. Some who decipher, and then come to an acknowledgment. Religion isn't directly to blame for it.
