Perhaps it should be, "Analysis: Self-deluded, ignorant voters can't be ignored." From the people with their hands outstretched to a combination of nitrogen and oxygen, to the "Heartland" questions, to the "social conservatives", to the Q&A with a pastor, this little blurb describes describes just about everything backwards with the American midwest. And, as the ticker implies, it is McCain's duty as a Republican to win over these people. Note that I didn't say cowboys, southern comfort, accents, et cetera were backwards. I prefer some aspects of midwest culture to that of other parts of the US.
