What a totally kickass concept presentation that turned out to be. I could totally be coaxed into watching a whole movie of that; certainly couldn't turn out any worse than the Dragon Ball flick, right?

Skynet was implemented on April 19, 2011 and began its attack against humanity on April 21. The protagonists travel in time from 1999 to 2007 and take actions to prevent Skynet's activation.

Haha! There was a Terminator 2 game for NES, and the instruction booklet contained a series of dates on which various cataclysmic events were supposed to happen. I was disappointed as each one passed, and still, no cool skeleton robots walking around.

I thought The Sarah Connor Chronicles turned out fairly well, considering how beaten to death the concept already was before the show came along. There were a few really stellar episodes, and some really ridiculously trashy ones too.

I thoroughly enjoyed half of that show! Every episode where they focus on John Connor dealing with "teenager stuff" that don't move the plot forward (SPOILERSTART: the entire arching plot consists of Sarah, John, and River stopping Skynet from becoming more than a chess program :ENDSPOILER) should just be deleted. The robots are where it's at.

Amen! It's interesting that the robot-centric plotlines seemed to speak more powerfully on human nature than the emo-teenage stuff.

Ooh! I think the episode "Self Made Man" is one of the most reviled among the series' fanbase, probably for lack of action. But it's my favorite, hands-down. In my personal copy, I did end up just deleting the John Connor segments from it though.    It did a great job of introducing the question of how machine and human experiences could be similar, and whether machines might have the ability to empathize with humans on some fundamental level. Intriguing stuff!

I don't think it was a matter of prejudice, but simply that the protesters in question were not so much anti-war as they were anti-Bush. If they really were anti-war, then you'd be right. They'd be hypocrites for not continuing their practice.
