Coke & Pepsi: The Ultimate Battle

Coke and Pepsi are the same thing! Wake up, everybody!

For years we have been under this assumption. Well, I have been. But no, you are wrong Homer. Pepsi and Coke taste totally different. They are different drinks. And now, we are here to find out, which one is the winner in the ultimate battle of the Cola's.

This debate is not including some of the other drinks, or as we call the, pussy juices, such as Vanilla, Diet, Zero, Lemon and so forth. This is Original vs Original.

Coke, I believe tastes like shit. It tastes bad when it enters my mouth, and tastes bad afterwards, up to an hour later. It is the drink of the Devils; what God would throw on people in Hell. It is the sort of thing I would pee in to make taste better. Sometimes, when I am at a party, I see a can of Coke, and go, hey, might give it a shot, as I have been known to change opinions of things rather regularly. But no, I taste it...then I try and give it to someone almost immediately. Then I want to piss and even shit out all remnants of this vile drink, so that the innocent bacterium (and even the ones that aren't innocent...I'm looking at you e coli) that live inside my body aren't forced to live in this crap. I want to spit on the creator of Coke, the CEO of Coca Cola, the drinkers of Coke. I hate it that much.

I don't like Pepsi either...

I love both, but Coke tastes REALLY bad after you leave it for a while. Pepsi has more... 'zing'. (whatever that means)

And I, too, am fed up with people saying that they're 'the same thing'. They couldn't possibly be the same, no company could copy the other perfectly.

Well, personally I prefer Pepsi (and yes, I like Pepsi X)... But my favourite soft drink is Sprite =]

Nothing against Coke though... It tastes alright when in the mouth, but does indeed leave a bad taste in it a while after you drink. Nothing OMIGOSH terrible though.. For who is used drinking Mate it's like vanilla ice cream.

Oh, and a good way to avoid Coke's after-taste is drinking it with a few ice cubes... At least it works with me o.o (If you put some vodka in it, even better *rolleyes*)

Yeah, drinking Coke with ice cubes is much better... I got really fed up with Coke after buying dodgy, 'left-in-the-sun' bottles in school everyday.

Hmm, I know they don't taste alike, but I don't really prefer one more than the other.

Coke is definately better as a fountain drink though - I've never really liked adding ice to Pepsi.

I'm more of a Dr. Pepper person anyways. =P

Nothing beats cream soda. In every avenue of food, there is always a particular flavor held best. For fruit candy, cherry is always number one. Hawaiian / Fruit punch wins for juice drinks. And for soft drinks, cream soda is the highest. Nothing compares to drinking vanilla flavored cream soda out of a cold bottle. It's above lemon-lime, cola, and other novelty drinks.

They are the same. They do taste different however.

In Coke, I find it to be quite plain from start to finish unlike Pepsi which has a fresher aftertaste.

Mountain Dew and any form of Orange Pop wipe Pepsi/Coke off the table any day.

but I do prefer Coke over Pepsi anyways so maybe that's why though I find that it's most peoples preference.
