Eh, not really. Dr Pepper seems to play both sides - its served where either Pepsi or Coke products are served.

I prefer Cola>Pepsi, but mostly because I don't drink it that often, but for mixing, Cola owns. Really evil is Cola+Jägermeister(tastes like...whine + tooth paste with a burning in the throat[if you mix it 80-20; L/Cola like I prefer], and I know, a bad example ).

Zeality is correct on both counts; cream soda (or "cake-in-a-can" as my friend calls it) is better than cola, and soda is the proper term, not pop. He is incorrect, however, in his assertion that cream soda is the finest of sodas. That is reserved for orange-cream soda, but he's not far off the mark.

Also, for those who are complaining about the flavor of soda from cans or cups, why are you drinking from anything but chilled glass bottles anyway?

I can't stand either regular ol' Coke or Pepsi; the aftertaste is horrible. I do, however, lurve cream soda and Vanilla Coke/Pepsi. I also have a soft spot for anything cherry- or strawberry-flavored, so Strawberry Sunkist and Code Red are like crack to me.

It's no wonder I've sworn off soda.

Unfortunately, I hail from a generation long after the 1920s. I've had a couple bottled sodas though, and I must say, they're the best thing out there.

Argh, Creaming Soda tastes good -- but the after taste is almost as horrible as the after taste of Coke. Actually, it's a lot less -- nothing can reach that level of bitterness.

Vanilla coke, and I totally forgot all about it, really does own. I'd make it among my top 5 best cans of pop.

Yeah, up here in Wisconsin we say Soda, but I always thought Pop was a better word. Pop sounds more refreshing to me. But I refrain from using it as so not to be outcast from society.
