Uh... Wha? Gilgamesh is in FFV and FFVIII, not FFVI. FFVI had Odin transform into Raiden, which in my honest opinion was Woolsey trying to seduce us all into Mortal Kombat, but whatever.

Here's the news w/a pic from (I believe) Famitsu (or one of them damn Japanese magazines that are always in the know...because they're in Japan)...
It looks like Gilgamesh does his "four swords" attack again. I wonder what swords he can choose in this version, the FFVIII set, the FFXII set, or a new one...

Off-topic (again): the browser icon of that website seems to be a modified CT sprite... cool.

Yeah, I've already forgotten which RPGs you've played ZeaLitY...I just remember that the list was small and almost heartbreaking...:)

Was just about to ask that. You might not like it, as it doesn't have the maturity value that FF8 amd 7 do, but it has an enchanting storyline and characters.

I think there's a sense of maturity, much like some of the older FFs (IV & VI at least come to mind), that comes through amid comic relief...I mean, Freya is certainly a more mature character...and Vivi himself, although childish in appearance and personality, matures somewhat as a character...8) Ah, teh hell w/complex storylines! Give me good character development any day! FFIX delivers where it counts.

Grabbing Garnet's Dagger's ass sure is mature.

:lee:

Freya is a pretty deep character. Ugly as hell though. So is that other dude, the one whose name starts with A and is a thief...who knows. But Kuja, now THERE is a villain. Very similar to Sephiroth though.

Amarant? No he wasn't...they tried too hard to try and make him mysterious while completely forgetting the fact that even mysterious people need to be, like, developed somewhat and stuff...I agree that Freya kicked butt...but they could have delved further into her...by the end of the game I still felt like I had hardly heard a word from her besides her lil quote about how being forgotten is worse than death...
