And the older she gets, the hotter. My brother just got really big into Iron Maiden, and I must say, they're pretty darn good. Daniel, you'd probably enjoy many of their literature derived songs. When I still played cello, I attempted to learn to play "The Evil That Men Do." Managed to remember the main riff enough to crack it out on the piano every now and again.Tomorrow night I'm going to see Dragonforce. That should be awesome. Overall they are, from what I've heard, lyrically very good. And Dragonforce, eh? I've heard some of their songs (Fury of the Storm, My Spirit Will Go On, and a few others). Very intense guitar playing, to say that least - I quite like it. Have fun! Yeah Dragonforce does have some pretty crazy guitar in their songs!!!! But the Groups that everybody listed were not really all that popular....aside from a few....then again you've probably never heard of some of the ones that I just posted about. If you havn't heard Night Ranger you should go to the nearest store and buy their Cd!!! Any 1 will do...alost all their songs have great guitar rifts in them!!! But this is just my opinion. Yeah. And he was well-respected. The tribute concert for him was massive. When Bohemian Rhapsody came on the PA everything stopped. No conversation, no taking orders or serving food for six minutes. The entire restaurant sang along, from start to finish. It was great. Gayballica more like it! >_>But pre-Black Album Metallica kicked major ass. Logged K_K_FFXII Porrean (+50) Posts: 81 Darkness Bestows All... The most infleuential band (in my opinion) would have to be Van Hallen!!! Thousands and even millions of people have gone to places just to see him play guitar!!!! Now that's a true fan!!!!!!!! With my knowledge of music. I would have to say Eazy E , Big Daddy Kane, and Dr Dre. Dr Dre wasn't as big but his music was better than most.
