Wikipedia rules in this regard for compiling EVERYTHING about news in the initial stages of a story.

Check out the country reactions.

Quote
Benita Ferrero-Waldner, the Commissioner for External Relations, stated that the EU have no plans to cut humanitarian aid to North Korea but stressed the tests were "unacceptable".

Aw, have a little backbone! But I like how the entire goddamn world is totally opposed to this. If they try anything, it looks like the entire United Nations will utterly beat the christ out of them.
Like they uttler beat the chirst out of us from going to Iraq! The united nations is going the way of the league of nations dude. all talk, no power.
But the United Nations only has no power when one of the Veto-able nations oppose a sanction, or a ruling, or whatever. But it looks like none of the nations support NK.
let's face it, the united nations fucking hates us as well. they hate bush. bush is everything wrong with this contry defined into one giant presidential idiot.
When was the UN a unified entity?

How so? And how would they be able to hate you when they aren't a unified entity?

Yeah, well, countries are usually hated when they put the world at risk.

Or, if Picard were president. That'd be...a dream. Riker would be secretary of state, Worf could be secretary of defense (or...not), and just imagine what Data could do in a cabinet position.

We don’t deserve Picard as president.  We deserve an Emperor Gestahl at best.  Or Victor von Doom at worst.

Put the three on a ballot. Who gets your vote? Who the country as a whole deserves, or who will make the country as a whole the best place it can be?

We did vote for Bush, you know.  Twice.  I don’t think its that far a stretch to say we'd elect Doom if given half a chance.

I vote for Emperor Palpatine

I didn’t list Palpatine on purpose.  He is just a bad a dictator as Doom or Gestahl, but society under him was so broken, repressed, and dissatisfied that the movement that would eventually topple his reign came from within.  By contrast, Doom is still ruler of Latervia, a prosperous nation considered by the world to be a superpower despite being smaller that Rhode Island.  All in game evidence strongly suggest that Gestahl's Empire was similarly prosperous.  The resistance again the Empire came from without in the form of the Returners, and had Kefka not lost his damn mind said resistance would have failed.

Why not add a poll for it? ^_^
