Chrono Trigger for Playstation 2

I heard a rumur that square-Enix was going to make a CT for PS2. because they decided to make the game that got them their first millions to better graphics. makeing it a ps2 and X-box 360 productions.
If this isn't true. wouldn't be cool if it was.

yeah, it sounds interesting. Though I wont fully believe it untill I see where the information came from.
But if they do decide to remake CT for the PS2, I would be very happy,
Though isn't the PS3 coming out in a couple of months? This would mean that it wont be made for the PS2 which will seriously suck ass, as the PS3 costs an incredible amount of money.

well now i'm not exactly sure. When I called my freind devan in amsterdam.  he said that they were making it but their company decided it would cost to much and wouldn't sell good enough. No plans have been announced. FF4-6 are getting (have recieved) GBA ports though.
