Help with Toma's Pop (CT)

I have the ZNES emulator of Chrono Trigger, and after a week of heavy playing I got stuck. I have the Toma's Pop, I go to his grave, I press A in every possible form, in front the grave, behind the grave, sides of the grave... but apart from saying "The Great Adventurer Toma Levine Rests Here..." NOTHING else happens! WTF?!

Can you help me on this, please? Thank you.

Ah... I honestly can't help you. I have a few ideas, but I don't really know what your problem is. I use the same format you do, and I had no problems. What EXACLTY have you done up to this point?

You probably diddn't get the item in your inventory due to the ROM being a bit iffy. If you can't get Toma to give you one again in 600ad, then use an item generator code. That should hopefully get the pop in your inventory.

If you have it, then the event switch must not be working due to an iffy ROM once again. Try resetting/newgaming, and if all else fails, cheat.
