Lazy party members?

Ok recently I had made a post about Gaspar obviously being able to see events and such from the end of time. Well when the team is thrown into prison in Zeal by Dalton, why do the others waiting at the end of time not come and rescue you? Im sure if Gaspar could see side quests, why coudn't he  have thrown something at another party member and told them to get to 12,000 B.C. because the boy who has the fate of the world in his hands is floating in a tube.Because the gates had yet to be sealed and the skyway was still open right?

Bet he knew what was going to happen, and that all the stuff will work out, so why bothering sending the other ones to rescue?

Doesn't he just say that if 4 or more travel at the same time? not individually?

They might not be able to safely leave the End of Time. There's only one gate key.

i think it's probably both reasons here.

sending someone back to change the timeline, or to accelerate it, especially if Gaspar already knew that it would work out alright, could have devastating effects on the rest of the timeline (with a possible outcome like that of CC's split worlds), and in addition to this, there is the instability of more than three time travelers.  while sending someone back to the rescue might work, how would they all get back?  while there's a good chance they'd end up at the end of time, i really don't think there's any guarantee of that due to the instability of bridging space time (i'm assuming instability based on the idea that it would probably be harnessing wormholes, which are space-time singularities, and largely unknown and unpredictable)

Sorry, but I'm gonna have to invalidate that one.  Remember, in one of the endings, everyone goes their seperate ways <i>without</i> Gate Keys.(Well, except Marle and Lucca.)  So the portals at The End of Time, for some inexplicable reason, work just fine with or without a Gate Key.

In any case, this is an interesting question.  I can give you a couple of theoretical explainations:
[Gameplay Explaination]
No Time Key, no character transfers.  No character transfers, no way to contact the other party members.  As such, you're incapable of playing as anyone else.

[Story Explaination]
Gaspar sleeps a lot, seeing as he has nothing better to do since being at The End of Time.  Though not quite as gifted as Belthesar(apparently), he may very well have known about everything that would happen.  But then again, he may very well have not known.  Given all this, the other members would have no reason to worry more than normal and have no information to go on besides.  In addition, the Wings of Time(or "Epoch") was stuck on board the Blackbird.  Even if the others had taken the Time Gate back to 12,000 BC, they would've been stuck there with no Gate Key and with no way to get aboard the Blackbird until the first party managed to break...which would have defeated the purpose of going back in the first place!

In summation, Gaspar, even if he'd known about this stuff happening, would have had no good reason to tell anyone to go back to 12,000 BC because without a way to get on to the Blackbird, anyone else going back would have just been a waste of time.

Conundrum solved!
