The Big O

I love this anime. It has such a catching story, and is really, really confusing, although fantastic.

Anyone else here like it?

Yes, so much that I helped Savebigo.com draft a petition idea. But who knows if it'll work.

It wasn't renewed for season three because Mike Lazzo allegedly threw a fit and threatened to withdraw all his precious, horrible comedy contributions. No one can deny that Venture Brothers and Robot Chicken are a hell of a lot funnier than ATHF, 12 oz. Mouse, Tom Goes to the Mayor, Squidbillies, or that other horrible stuff.

It's very much a Chrono Break situation.

Anyway, Roger Smith rules.

Agreed. Roger Smith is awesome. I wish it would continue; the story got really interesting with the whole book/Metropolis thing at the end of season two.

The show didn't appeal to me that much, but when I wasn't tired and stayed up to watch it, it was a pretty damn good show.  Better then most animes th at i've seen.  IMO Shakugan No Shana + Big O > most animes that are out there.

i cant comment on the big O but if you think Shana (a good anime none the less) is better than most other anime out there you still have a lot to watch my friend.

I've seen alot of animes, but most of them were repetitive...I like shows that aren't basically the same thing every episode.

Outlaw Star is good for not being repetitive, having a very different plot line each episode. Heck, look at the cactus episode, for example. >_> Totally screwed up.

Quote
'Cactus': I am the supreme being in the universe!
Gene: Why are you here selling crappy ice cream?
'Cactus': Silence, lowly mammal!

Too bad it was only 26 episodes long. Same goes for The Big O. Both of them were aired after each other here, (The Big O episode, then an Outlaw Star episode) so basically, both started on the same day, and I got to see two anime finales in the same day, because of both having the same number of episodes.

DBZ Sailor Moon Gundam Wing DBGT.  Plus, I rarely download anime, I just watch them on Youtube.  Current Anime's i'm watching on youtube are "Death Note" and "Chocotto Sister"(ちょこッとsister)

Chocotto sister is like a romance/Comedy.  But it ends up being perverted once it hits episode 3...

4 series that are known to be like that by everyone, i hardly count that as "most anime"

muat have been some of the more mainstream generic series that have been around for ages such as gundam.
ive plenty enough anime to know that most arnt the same every episode. may i ask how long these series were? quite a few of the longer ones (50-75+ season ones) are like that.

I wonder what season three would've been like? I really didn't think the story would've continued after seeing most aspects wrapped up (although vaguely in some cases), but then again, there was still room for some plot details and character development, particularly with Angel.
